The NF Audio NA2+ greets any user with an impressively neutral and highly detailed signature, keeping both audiophiles and professionals impressed. Hitting the market at about $169, the NF Audio NA2+ surely does a great job in the reproduction of sound with accurate, clear midrange, well-defined highs, and well-controlled bass. A single dynamic driver with good technical characteristics can provide well-balanced sound without being excessively aggressive in bass or bright in treble. This is the IEM that would work for the more critical listener, in desperate need of good retrieval and accuracy. From acoustic to classical to even modern genres, the NA2+ conveys music with poise.
Context
NA2+ has been used for about a couple of weeks now. The set was simply a great love from the beginning. This set is driven with Xduoo xd 05 basic with BB OPA2132p OP-Amp, ddHiFi tc44c, and LG V60. I have also listened to it with Fosi Audio DS1 for its soundstage performance. Stock cable was used, I also used an upgraded cable. But the tips are changed to a new one. Tried it with different eartips Spinfit W1, 145, CP100+, Penon Liqueur O, Velvet, and TRI clarion eartips. My pick with this IEM will be the Penon Liqueur O eartips. They also isolate my ears pretty well and produce a sound that’s to my liking.
Note: I use these iems with this cable, eartips, and sources. That is the basis for my overall review.
Disclaimer
I received this IEM from “NF Acous宁梵声学” for review needs. And each corporation has no direction on what to write and what not. With the sound I listened to, the whole evaluation represents my objective experience and honest assessment.
The review is grounded in my own experience and what I learned from many IEMs. Your experience could change depending on personal taste and anatomical variations including ear canal depth and form. Also for some sources like DAC, eartips, cables.

Build Quality
Actually, the NF Audio NA2+ is quite decent in terms of build quality, and the lightweight aluminum casing makes it really feel quite premium. The matte finish looks sleek while making sure fingerprints are fully resisted, giving it a clean look even under continuous use. The design in itself is solid, the cable might sound a bit flimsy, not to any degree, though. It was 5N silver-plated OFC, though-so it wouldn’t skimp on the sound quality. For this price, an upgraded cable can be included. that’s my opinion, anyway. I really do not like this stock cable at all. Other than that, everything is ok. With a feather-light build, the NA2+, with its gentle tactile, is said to be more fitting for daily usage by people that really need a tough pair of earphones.

Design
From a design perspective, the NA2+ is quite minimalist, with its matte finish and contouring. Worth noting, too, is the unboxing experience-which many are probably steeped in nostalgia with, thanks to the box design, much like older casings for CDs. Accessories include balanced silicone ear tips in several sizes to allow users to get the best fit, although for some it would have gone even further if higher-end tips could be used. Still, I use my own eartips ’cause I don’t like these generic eartips.
Fit and Comfort
But it’s really at comfort that the NA2+ truly shines. With its lightweight and ergonomic contour, it’s promised to remain comfortable for extended listening. Of course, a pair of third-party ear tips or NF Audio’s MS42 ear tips can produce even better comfort and sound isolation. But these are areas where the shallow fit really means very little to absolutely no negative impacts on the listening experience for the overwhelming majority of users.

Sound Impression
NA2+ presents a neutral-bright signature with a focus on accuracy of tone and clarity. There isn’t any typical V-shaped tuning; instead, it’s well-balanced and clean, sitting well with genres which demand precision. Bass is there, but never overwhelming. the mid is natural and clear, while the treble is detailed but never overly sharp. Indeed, the dream IEM for those who love listening to high-resolution sound with lots of detail.
Sub-bass
In the sub-bass, NA2+ is very well-controlled and linear. While it may not create this really huge, deeply profound bass, the bass presence is there and it’s clear and clear-cut, perfect for musical genres like Classical or Acoustic, where nuances and clarity mean so much. It doesn’t give the actual kick that those people who are looking for that bass punch in electronic or hip-hop music might have been craving. Sub-bass is admirably done in more refined listening. Also, the bass response is prompt and can catch up with the other instruments.
Mid-Bass
The NA2+ approaches mid-bass in a very tight and clean way: it does not muddy into the mids, neither overshadows other frequencies, hence it becomes very well-suited for balanced listening. If control and speed are good in this frequency range, drum hits can be very accurate and realistic along with bass guitar lines.
Male Vocals
The NA2+ does a great job in terms of male vocal reproduction. The midrange frequencies are prominent, which can present male voices bright but not too fatiguing when contrasted against other frequency tones. The natural tone is heard loud, and thus the vocalist’s voice is effortlessly heard, making it a decent option for rock, metal, classic rock, or acoustic genres where clarity of voice is most desired.
Female Vocals
The NA2+ presents female vocals with a light, airy sense of detail due to emphasis in the upper mid and treble. That same treble adds extra sparkle to higher-pitched voices that never sound stridently shrill or sibilant-great in genres featuring strong female vocals, like pop or classical opera.
Some females are very shouty (ss, sh) found in some female vocals. if you like energy in female vocals, then that is not an issue.
Treble
The upper treble on the NA2+ is crisp, airy, and detailed, adding significant sparkle without ever getting too harsh. For listeners a little more sensitive to bright treble, it’s a bit sharp for extended listening, but for listeners who enjoy their details and clarity, the performance is at the top. It’s energetic and fast, which really aids in the realistic portrayal of instruments like cymbals and strings.

Instruments
Another strong point of NA2+, the instrument separation is simply excellent. Every instrument sounds well-paragraphed in the sound stage that offers up great clarity even on some of the most complicated tracks. Tuning is neutral, hence instrumentation is natural and without color. Acoustic guitars, violins, and pianos benefit enormously from this. That places the NA2+ as a good option for classical, rock, metal, and jazz music.
Soundstage
It’s wide and airy, giving a roomy listen, but the depth could be better. NA2+ does not have that amount of three-dimensionality present in higher-end IEMs. On the other hand, the imaging is very precise, and one can recognize the place of different instruments and sounds across the horizontal plane without any extra effort. Having said that, it’s a great iem in terms of soundstage presentation overall.
Performance Gaming
The NF Audio NA2+ does great with gaming, showing clarity, a soundstage, and well-defined imaging. Extremely precise positioning, with fast-paced action, first-person shooter games like CS: GO and Valorant use this NA2+ to determine positions from where either the footsteps sound or gunfire took place. That actually can give you a certain type of competitive advantage in finding out where the enemies are coming from. It pays even more dividends in more immersive games like Battlefield 2042 or Warzone 2.0, where the wide soundstage creates a realistic sense of spatial awareness, placing explosions, environmental noises, and voice comms with clear distinction. The high treble can be a bit fatiguing for some users in longer gaming sessions; however, in competitive play, the NA2+ truly shines, offering subtle and reactive audio cues. NA2+ heavily enhances auditory clarity in Rainbow Six Siege title in which sound is an enormous factor in gameplay. Gaining an accurate sense of one’s surroundings becomes much easier to accomplish.
Conclusion
The NF Audio NA2+ is an excellent option for audiophiles who look at clarity, precision, and a neutral sound profile. As already noted, these aren’t going to delight any bass heads or lovers of a warm, lush sound, but at clean, detailed audio, with operative word balance. But with a solid build and fit, besides great overall sound performance, the NA2+ should be a good choice for audiophiles and gamers alike, albeit mostly for those seeking an IEM that will serve it well in both music and gaming.
