The Twistura Beta Flagship is one of those IEMs that instantly makes you feel like, “wait… this is under $120??”
Because honestly, the overall package and sound performance is way too good for the price.
This is a full aluminium build IEM with a premium feel in hand. The body feels solid, the finishing is clean, and the design looks minimal but classy. Twistura also gives something very rare in this price range — interchangeable tuning nozzles and a very good cable system.
I tested this IEM with all three nozzles:
- Standard (Silver)
- Vocal (Golden)
- Instrument (Black)
And each nozzle gives a different flavor. The best part is… they are not gimmick, they actually changes the sound clearly.
I mainly used this IEM with my Hiby RS2 R2R DAP and FiiO K13 R2R DAC, and the sound it produced was just beautiful. Also played some games with this IEM and surprisingly it performed really well for gaming too.

Disclaimer
I got the Twistura Beta Flagship sent over by Twistura for review, just to be clear. Everything I’m saying here is just my own thoughts, nobody told me what to say or anything like that. They didn’t pay me either, just sent the unit, that’s all.
Unboxing & Accessories
Twistura Beta Flagship is basically a full package.
You don’t need to buy anything extra.
Inside the box you will get:
- High quality detachable cable (interchangeable connector support)
- Multiple ear tips
- Tuning nozzles (3 set)
- Carrying pouch / case
For this price range, this feels like a “complete premium kit” rather than budget stuff.

Build Quality & Comfort
The build is aluminium, so it feels more premium than resin shells. It’s not heavy in ear, but still feels solid and durable. The nozzle threading is also well made and easy to swap.
In comfort side, it sits nicely. The shape is ergonomic and I had no discomfort in long listening session. Isolation is also decent for daily use.
Sound Impression
Before going into sound sections, let’s talk about the nozzles quickly.
Standard (Silver Nozzle)
This is the nozzle that suits me the best.
It gives a U-shaped tuning, with good bass punch, clean vocals and smooth treble. It feels the most balanced and enjoyable overall.
Vocal (Golden Nozzle)
This nozzle pushes the vocal region forward and makes vocals shine more. I also noticed the soundstage becomes wider compared to standard nozzle. Great for vocal lovers.
Instrument (Black Nozzle)
This one boosts instrument clarity and gives a more energetic treble feel. The soundstage feels wide and open. But it can be slightly fatiguing for treble sensitive people. Also you may notice a bit less bass presence compared to standard nozzle.
Overall, my favorites are the Standard and Golden nozzle.

Sound Review
Bass — Tight & Tuneful
Bass is very enjoyable on this IEM, specially with the Standard nozzle.
Sub bass has enough rumble and weight when needed, and mid bass has a punchy feel. It doesn’t sound bloated or muddy.
The bass is not basshead level, but it’s clean and textured. You can feel the bass line clearly without losing detail.
With the Vocal nozzle and Instrument nozzle, bass presence becomes a little bit less, because the tuning focuses more on vocal and treble/instrument clarity. So if you want the best bass impact, Standard nozzle is the winner.
Bass is mature, controlled, and fast.
Male Vocals — Warm With Good Body
Male vocals sound natural and slightly warm. It has good weight and body, not thin or recessed. With Standard nozzle, male vocals sound smooth and balanced.
Switching to the Golden vocal nozzle, male vocals comes closer and feels more intimate. It’s a very enjoyable tuning for singers and acoustic tracks.
Overall male vocal performance is very clean and realistic for the price.
Female Vocals — Sweet and Smooth
Female vocals is one of the strong points of this IEM.
With the Standard nozzle, female vocals stay clean and sweet without sharpness.
No harshness, no shouty feeling, and sibilance is well controlled. It has enough clarity but still sounds smooth.
Golden nozzle makes female vocals more forward and lively, and it gives extra sparkle to vocal region. If you love vocal centric tuning, this nozzle is addictive.
Instrument nozzle can make female vocal a bit energetic due to treble lift, so treble sensitive listeners may feel fatigue.

Treble — Detailed But Not Harsh
Treble is energetic but well tuned. It has enough extension to bring sparkle and air. Cymbals and high hats sound clean and sharp, but not piercing.
With Standard nozzle, treble feels smooth and safe.
Golden nozzle gives a bit more shine, still controlled.
Instrument nozzle gives the most treble energy. It reveals micro details and instrument texture better, but it may feel too bright for long listening if you are sensitive to treble.
So for safe listening, Standard nozzle is perfect.
Soundstage — Wide and Spacious
Soundstage is impressive for this price.
It doesn’t sound closed or inside your head. It feels open and airy.
Standard nozzle gives a balanced stage with good depth.
Golden nozzle feels even wider and more spread out, giving vocals a bigger stage around them.
Instrument nozzle also gives wide stage and extra air.
For movies and gaming, this stage performance is a big plus.
Imaging — Pinpoint and Accurate
Imaging is top notch.
Instrument placement is very accurate and stable. You can easily locate where each instrument is playing. It doesn’t sound messy.
Separation is also good. Even in busy tracks, it doesn’t collapse.
This is one of the main reason why I enjoyed it so much.

Gaming Performance
This IEM is actually a very good gaming IEM too.
Footstep positioning feels accurate, gunshots direction is clear, and environment sound has good distance layering. Imaging helps a lot here.
With Standard nozzle, the tuning is balanced and not fatiguing, so long gaming sessions feel comfortable. Golden nozzle gives wider stage which is also fun for open world games.
If you want a budget IEM for gaming + music, Twistura Beta is a strong choice.
Source Pairing (Hiby RS2 + FiiO K13)
I used it mainly with:
- Hiby RS2 R2R DAP
- FiiO K13 R2R DAC
And man… the sound was beautiful.
The R2R smoothness matches very well with Beta’s clean treble and detailed presentation. It becomes more natural, more musical, and stage becomes even more holographic.
This IEM scales well with better sources, but still easy to drive.
Overall Impression
Twistura Beta Flagship is one of those rare IEMs where you feel like you got more than what you paid for.
- Great aluminium build
- Interchangeable cable
- Interchangeable tuning nozzles
- Full accessory pack
- Wide soundstage
- Pinpoint imaging
- Great for gaming
- Safe treble (Standard nozzle)
And the best part is, you can choose tuning based on mood.
If you want a complete “all-rounder” under $120, this is honestly a no brainer.
Final Verdict
If you ask me, the Standard (Silver) nozzle is the best all-rounder and safest tuning.
The Golden nozzle is perfect for vocal lovers.
The Black nozzle is for detail heads and instrument lovers, but it can be a little fatiguing for sensitive ears.
Overall, Twistura Beta Flagship is a full package IEM with premium sound and premium accessories.
Highly recommended in this price range.

Happy Listening
